Lake Tuggeranong Canberra Australia

Lake Tuggeranong is an artificial lake in the Canberra district of Tuggeranong. The lake was created by the construction of a dam in 1987 coinciding with urban development in the district. The lake was built as a sediment trap to stop sediment from entering the Murrumbidgee River.
